Reminder that YL Club is TUESDAY this week. We'll pick back up with Monday's again on October 29th. Tuesday the 23rd is an All Area Event at Club opera in Midtown. The place is rented out for YL only and the event will be a blast! You can drive yourself there or meet at the Upper School parking lot at 7pm where leaders will be carpooling down, returning by 9:30 at the latest. Hope to see you!!

Frontier and Western Tour Parent Meetings

This summer  Young Life at HIES along with several other schools in Northwest Atlanta will be going to Frontier Ranch in Colorado for one of the best weeks of the summer! The two ways to get there are by flying direct or by taking the Western Tour, an Atlanta YL tradition.  We will have two Frontier Parent Information Meetings this year that I want you all to know about. 

What is Western Tour? It is a 3 week trip out West which ends up at Frontier Ranch--one of Young Life's premier Young Life camps in Buena Vista, CO. This is an amazing trip with a 45 year history with Young Life in Atlanta! The same information will be communicated at both meetings. Just pick the day that works best for you! We will have the first meeting on Monday, Sept. 17 at 8:30 am. The other option is Sunday, Sept. 23 at 3:30 pm. Both meetings are at our Young Life Office. These are the only Western Tourparent information meetings that we have scheduled other than the parent meeting in May for the kids already signed up for the trip! If you have a son or daughter who a 10th-12th grader and is interested in going on Western Tour this summer this meeting is for you. Please help us spread the word to others who might be interested!

• 75 North to Cumberland Blvd.
• Turn left off the exit onto Cumberland Blvd.  
• Take a right at the light onto Cobb Galleria Parkway
• Take a right at the light into Galleria 75 office complex
• Go straight upon entering Galleria 75. You will be driving through a parking lot.
• Take a left at the dead end by the dumpster and the blue usps mailbox Our office  is on the bottom floor on your left. Suite 254. It is pretty soon after you pass the dumpster as well as the stair case with the metal railing.

 

From 75 South:

• 75 South to Cumberland Blvd.

Frontier and Western Tour Student-Parent Info and Willy's Gift Cards!

Hey HIES Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores, listen up! Do your summer plans include a three week road trip with your friends across the US to California and back? To learn more come on out to Lindsey Klopfenstein's house Sunday with your parents on February 12th at 5:30 for a short info meeting. If you can't come, send your parents, or come yourself if they can't come. Just get there somehow!!
